Establish virtual office hours, bring guest speakers to students from anywhere in the world or allow students to collaborate on a group project from any location using Elluminate Live! The web collaboration system adds real-time interaction to distance learning, extends the boundaries of the traditional classroom, and engages students in more ways, by enabling instructors and students to text, chat and talk over the Internet. It also makes it easy for professors to deliver PowerPoint presentations, share software applications and whiteboard.
The next workshop will be held March 11, 2 – 4 p.m. in the Instructional Technology Support Services (ITSS) lab on the lower level of the University Library. Reservations are not necessary.
