Within the context of the Spring 2007 gathering of information and resultant assessment report on academic technology at CSULB, we task this sub-group to create an initial prioritization of the Division’s technology needs and to lay out the foundation for future planning efforts. Observations and recommendations from this sub-group should include the following: help in assessing and identifying priorities (top, medium, low) in a living document; identifying divisional working teams to tackle specific identified priorities; and help in creating an ongoing process to ensure needs assessments are made prior to product and service selection. This work of setting priorities should solicit input from ATAG discussions and integrate with future strategic planning efforts by the Division of Academic Affairs and the Campus Information Technology Committee.
