Within the context of the Spring 2007 gathering of information and resultant assessment report on academic technology at CSULB, we task this sub-group to explore and encourage innovative and effective use of next-generation, interactive technology. Observations and recommendations from this sub-group should include the following: exploring models to support innovation while allowing the Division to focus on providing basic, reliable technology. In addition, this sub-group should explore Web 2.0 and effective faculty models and best practices for hybrid / online courses and programs.
