Graduate Student Orientation Program

Saturday, August 23, 2008; 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

Lecture Hall, Room 151 (LH-151)

Each fall semester, the Graduate Studies Office offers a one-day graduate student orientation session for students who have been admitted to the university and to a CSULB Master's Degree program. This year, the Graduate Student Orientation Program will take place on Saturday, August 23, 2008 (8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.).

The morning sessions will focus on the graduate education experience, specific University academic and administrative policies and procedures, and the many resources and support services that are available to you as a new graduate student. These sessions will be interactive and time will be allotted for your inquiries.

There will also be an optional workshop on library resources in the afternoon. For more information, please contact Rachel Brophy, Student Programs Coordinator, at rpbrophy@csulb.edu or (562) 985-4546.

The registration fee for the Graduate Student Orientation Program is $25.00. This fee covers printed materials, a copy of the Graduate Studies Handbook, a continental breakfast, and a barbecue lunch. The registration deadline is Friday, August 15, 2008. For a Registration Form, click here.
