How Can I Get More Connected Through a Learning Community?

If you want to become more connected to the university and get to know students and professors in a more personal setting, you might want to consider joining a learning community.

CSULB Learning Communities

Learning Alliance
The Learning Alliance is an academic community that offers students a small college atmosphere throughout their careers at CSULB. Through student-centered faculty, personalized attention from staff and peer
mentors, and individual academic advising, students are encouraged to excel in their classes while becoming involved in university life. Our program is open to incoming freshmen in any major, with placement based on language test scores (SAT/ACT/EPT/AP). Spaces fill quickly each year, so early application is recommended. Visit their web site for more information and application materials.
