Part-Time Lecturer in Sociology

Effective Date

August 20, 2012 (Fall 2012 semester); January 23, 2013 (Spring 2013 semester)

Salary Range

Commensurate with training and experience.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • M.A. in Sociology or equivalent
  • Potential for teaching effectiveness
  • Teaching experience
  • Commitment to and/or expertise in educating a diverse student population

 

Desired/Preferred Qualifications

  • ABD or Ph.D. in Sociology or closely related field
  • Candidates  whose education and teaching experience best qualifies them for the particular course to be staffed
  • A record of successful teaching experience within the CSU system.

 

Responsibilities

  • To teach one to three courses from those listed depending upon enrollment demand, departmental needs and lecturer specialties
