Minimum Qualifications

  • Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field to teach undergraduate courses
  • PhD in Civil Engineering to teach graduate courses
  • Demonstrated evidence of effective teaching experience in Civil Engineering
  • Commitment to and/or expertise in educating a diverse student population

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Civil Engineering work experience
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in California

 

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate courses and graduate courses in Construction Engineering and or Construction Management :
    • Surveying and Mapping
    • Materials
    • Fluids laboratory
    • Structural
    • Transportation
    • Construction
    • Geographic Information System
    • Environmental
