Temporary Part-Time Lecturer, Physical Therapy

Minimum Qualifications

  • Earned master’s degree in physical therapy, or equivalent, and appropriate clinical and/or administrative experience.
  • Clinicians must be licensed in California.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ph.D., or equivalent degree, in physical therapy and expertise in one or more of the following areas:
    • Prosthetics/orthotics
    • Physical therapy for pediatric patients and patients with orthopedic, neurological or cardiopulmonary disorders.
    • Professional practice issues
    • Physical therapy administration and management
    • Human growth and development across the lifespan
    • Exercise science
    • Electrophysiology
    • Clinical pathophysiology
    • Differential diagnosis
    • Imaging and pharmacology for physical therapists
    • Basic patient care physical therapy including management

Duties

  • Teach in a graduate program in one or more of a variety of physical therapy courses.
