Part-Time Lecturer Faculty Openings

Effective Date

August 22, 2011 (Fall 2011 Semester)

Salary Range

Commensurate with qualifications and experience

Minimum Qualifications

  • Applicant must have an active CPA certificate and an MBA or a Master's degree in Accounting from an AACSB-accredited institution
  • Prior successful record of teaching accounting courses
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with an ethnically and culturally diverse community
  • Candidates must meet current College of Business Administration Professionally Qualified Faculty requirements
  • The applicant should possess current relevant professional experience holding an upper-level position at a national, regional, or local accounting firm or major corporation
  • It would be expected that the applicant remain current in the profession by practicing as a consultant or an accounting professional, or by showing significant involvement in a state or national accounting organization
  • Commitment to and/or expertise in educating a diverse student population

Duties

  • Teach one or more accounting courses at the undergraduate/graduate level

Required Documentation

  • Letter of application
  • Resume (including an email address)
  • A list of three to five current references
  • A copy of the official transcript from institution awarding highest degree (official transcript required prior to appointment)
  • SC-1 Form (will be provided by the department)


Employment is contingent upon proof of the legal right to work in the United States. This proof must be provided prior to employment at the University. An appointment is not final until proof is provided to the Office of Payroll Services.
