Part-Time Lecturer Openings (Human Anatomy)

POSITION: Part-time Lecturers in Biological Sciences (Typical assignment is for a single semester, although reappointments are possible based upon successful teaching experience in the field and projected continuing needs in the department. Possibility of renewal for one or two years.)

EFFECTIVE DATES: August 25, 2008 for FALL 2008; January 23, 2009 for SPRING 2009

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate work in clinical studies (Nursing, Physical Therapy, Medical School) or current graduate student in the CSULB Department of Biological Sciences. Demonstrated potential for effective teaching. Ability to communicate effectively with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community.

DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree in Biological Sciences. M.D. or Ph.D. preferred. Expertise in field of course(s) to be taught.

DUTIES: Teach Human Anatomy (BIOL 208) courses.

SALARY RANGE: Dependent upon qualifications, experience, and time base.
