RECRUITMENT # 524 POSITION: Teaching Associate Openings EFFECTIVE DATE: Fall: August 25, 2008; Spring: January 23, 2009 (contingent upon budgetary funds)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

DUTIES: To teach in WPE Prep 010 and 020, a program preparing students for the Writing Proficiency Exam, and to provide student advisement. Courses are offered on the basis of one unit, credit/no credit and meet for two hours weekly. SALARY RANGE: $190 to $197 per unit, per month, paid in six installments per semester. REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION: Letter of application; résumé, including a current e-mail address; three letters of recommendation (one of which MUST be from an off-campus reference); official transcript from institution awarding B.A. degree and showing its completion.
