POSITION: Open rank Tenure Track Position in Educational Administration

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Earned doctorate in educational administration, educational leadership, or a related field (e.g., public policy, curriculum and instruction) and successful leadership P-12 experience in diverse urban settings such as those in Southern California. Ability to work collaboratively and collegially and communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, with an ethnically linguistically and culturally diverse campus community.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Evidence of potential for professional and scholarly productivity. Prior experience as a principal or central level administrator. Teaching in graduate level programs. Successful experience working in P-12 collaborative partnerships and potential to make positive contributions in community service. Experience in integrating technology into learning activities. Evidence of participation in professional associations or networks related to area of expertise.

 

DUTIES:

The positions presents an exciting opportunity to join a strong group of faculty and public school educators to offer certification, Master’s and doctoral level programs. Other duties include

Teaching, supervising and advising graduate students

Supervising theses and/or dissertations

Collaborating with members of the university/community to advance the program

Participating in program operations and faculty governance

Maintaining an active scholarly agenda

 

SALARY RANGE: Commensurate with academic rank.
