Assistant/Associate Professor of Marketing
(Marketing Communications and Social Media)

Effective Date

August 17, 2015 (Fall Semester)

Salary Range

Commensurate with qualifications and experience

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Marketing or a related field, prior to the effective date of appointment, from an AACSB (or equivalent) accredited institution
  • Demonstrated strong teaching and research potential
  • Demonstrated commitment to working successfully with a diverse student population


Desired/Preferred Qualifications

  • Published or forthcoming research in the marketing discipline

  • Effective teaching experience at the college level



  • Teaching/developing undergraduate/graduate (MBA) courses in Marketing Communications, and Social and Digital Media Marketing                                                   

  • Developing and maintaining a program of scholarly research and publications in the marketing field

  • Faculty are expected to engage in scholarly activities leading to presentation and publication, and participate in department, college, university, and community service activities

Required Documentation

  • A Student Success Statement about your teaching or other experiences, successes, and challenges in working with a diverse student population (approximately one page)
  • Letter of application addressing the minimum and desired/preferred qualifications
  • CV (including current email address)
  • Three to five current references
  • Copy of transcript from institution awarding highest degree
  • Finalists will also be required to submit a signed SC-1 form, three current letters of recommendation (if not already submitted), and an official transcript.
  • Evidence of research and publication in the field
