August 19, 2013- December 24, 2013 (Fall Semester)
January 21, 2014– May 23, 2014 (Spring Semester)
|Commensurate with qualifications and experience|
Master's degree in environmental science or a closely related field by date of appointment
Demonstrated potential for effective teaching and ability to communicate effectively with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community
At least 2 years of experience working on California environmental issues as a scientist, planner, consultant, advocate, or volunteer
Familiarity with Federal, State, and local environmental policies and movements relevant to environmental issues
Previous teaching experience
Familiarity with the California State University system.
Teach available courses (1.7 – 12 units) as needed, may include ES&P 200, 300, or co-teaching ES&P 400 course
