B.S. degree in Physics, Astronomy, or equivalent, and enrollment to the M.S. degree program in Physics at CSULB.
Demonstrated ability or potential to teach.
Ability to communicate effectively with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community.
Teach beginning Physics and Astronomy laboratories.

IMPORTANT: Graduate students are permitted to be employed as a Graduate Assistant (GA) or Teaching Associate (TA) for a total of six semesters. Graduate students must be enrolled in at least 6 units during each semester employed unless graduate student has less than 6 units remaining to be completed on the graduate program or fewer than 6 units on the graduate program are being offered or enrolled in GS 700 as the final course. This is university policy.
