Effective Date

August 20, 2012 for Fall 2012

January 22, 2013 for Spring 2013

Salary Range

Dependent on qualifications, experience and time base

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in Geology or equivalent, and current enrollment to the M.S. degree program in Geology at CSULB
  • Demonstrated ability or potential to teach
  • Ability to communicate effectively with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community

 

Duties

  • Teach beginning Geology laboratories

 

Note: Graduate students are permitted to be employed as a TA/GA for a total of six semesters.  Graduate students must be enrolled in at least 6 units (or in GS 700) during each semester employed unless program courses are not available or all course work (except thesis) has been completed.  This is university policy - NO EXCEPTIONS
