Instructional Student Assistant

Effective Date

August 27, 2012 /Fall 2012 Semester

January 22, 2013 / Spring 2013 Semester

Salary Range

10 hours a week maximum, $11.00 per hour

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Active enrollment in a CSULB program for a least 6 units during the semester employees 

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher (Preferably with a grade of “A” in POSC 100)

  • Must be able to work between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. This position requires 10 hours/week

  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus  

      community

 

Desired/Preferred Qualifications

  • Preference will be given to Political Science Undergraduate Students

 

Duties

  • Assist faculty in evaluating written work of students enrolled in Political Science 100

      (Introduction to American Government)

  • Attend Lectures

  • Maintain office hours to advise and assist students

  • Meet with course instructor as required
