Full-Time Lecturer (Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Disorders)

Effective Date

Salary Range

Commensurate with qualifications

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Post-professional Doctorate of Physical Therapy    
  • Licensed as a Physical Therapist in California with at least 10 years of experience treating patients with cardiopulmonary disorders
  • At least 5 years documented university teaching experience in Cardiopulmonary Physical Therapy
  • Board certified specialist in Cardiovascular and Pulmonary (CCS) disorders
  • Member of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Section, American Physical Therapy Association
  • Commitment to and/or experience in educating a diverse student population

 

Desired/Preferred Qualifications

  • PhD in Physical Therapy, Exercise Science, Biomechanics or related field
  • History of engagement in experimental research

 

Duties

  • Teach courses in Cardiopulmonary Physical Therapy
  •  May participate in department and college committees as assigned by Department Chair
  • Serve as a member/sponsor of doctoral research project committees
  • Other duties as assigned by the Department Chair
