Minimum Qualifications

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy
  • Licensed as a physical therapist in California with at least 3 years of experience in an out-patient  setting
  • Successful experience administering an independent, out-patient physical therapy practice
  • Documented University teaching experience
  • Commitment to and/or experience in educating a diverse student population

 

Desired/Preferred Qualifications

  • Board Certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS)
  • PhD in Physical Therapy, Exercise Science, Biomechanics, or related field
  • Member Private Practice Section or Orthopedic Section of American Physical Therapy Association

 

Duties

  • Teach courses in the Physical Therapy program
  • May participate in department and college committees as assigned by Department Chair
  • Establish and direct faculty physical therapy out-patient practice
  • Other duties as assigned by the Department Chair
