Part-Time Instructor (Non-General Fund)

Salary Range

Commensurate with training and experience

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • M.A./M.S. in Economics or equivalent
  • Demonstrated potential for teaching effectiveness
  • Commitment to and/or expertise in educating a diverse student population

 

Desired/Preferred Qualifications

  • ABD or PhD in Economics or closely related field
  • Record of successful teaching experience within the CSU system

 

Duties

  • Teach one to three courses from the following list
    • ECON100 Principles of Macroeconomics                         ECON101 Principles of Microeconomics
    • ECON300 Fundamentals of Economics                           ECON310 Intermediate Microeconomics
    • ECON311 Intermediate Macroeconomics                         ECON333 Managerial Economics
  • NOTE:  Additional classes may be assigned as needed.
