College of Business Administration

The College of Business Administration (CBA- http://www.csulb.edu/colleges/cba/) is a leading, dynamic urban college serving Orange County and south central Los Angeles County. It is one of the 30 largest business schools in the country. Business is one of the most popular fields of study on campus. Accredited since 1971 at both the undergraduate and graduate levels by AACSB International – The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business – CBA has approximately 5,000 undergraduate majors and about 350 graduate students in the several MBA programs. Consistent with the mission of the University, CBA aspires to be the College of Choice for business students in southern California by providing a high quality learning and research environment with a global focus and for regional economic development. The mission of the College is to academically and professionally prepare a diverse student body to excel in a global economy. The two centers of the College – the Center for Information Strategies and Technology and the newly-established Ukleja Center for Ethical Leadership  – provide professional development and applied research opportunities for faculty and contribute to improving business practices in the region. Located along the dynamic coast of southern California, Long Beach has a strong economic base supported by the nation's busiest container port, the tourism and hospitality industry, and, aerospace and defense contractors.
