Faculty Development Sustainability 2-Day WorkshopMay 21 and May 22, 2012 10:00am to 3:00pm The Green Thread is a national model of curriculum development, providing a community for intellectual dialogue around local sustainability issues and global environmental awareness. Given CSULB’s commitment to sustainability, many faculty members are searching for new ways to engage issues relevant to their fields. ALL CSULB faculty members who would like to modify an existing course or create a new course that engages issues of sustainability are invited to apply for an exciting two-day retreat lead by a nationally recognized sustainability scholar and the author of Green Business Practices for Dummies, Lisa Swallow. Application deadline is March 9, 2012. Space is limited to 20 faculty participants. Retreat dates are May 21 and 22, at the Faculty Center for Professional Development (AS 116).
