FCPD Advisory Board

Meeting Schedule

All Advisory Board Meetings take place in the Faculty Center: Library, Room 507 from 12 -1 p.m.

 

Members

Advisory Board Representative(s)

FCPD Advisory Board members are selected through the Academic Senate Committee on Committees.   Advisory Board members serve three-year, staggered terms, with eligibility for reappointment.  Each college and the Library have one tenured/tenure track representative (2 for CLA).  Four lecturer representatives, each from a different college also serve. 

Faculty holding the following appointments are also members of Advisory Board:

  • Assessment Coordinator

  • G.E. Coordinator

  • Chair, Faculty Personnel Policies Council

  • International Education Committee Representative

  • Multicultural Center Representative

  • Center for Community Engagement Representative

  • FCPD Director

Function

The primary function of the FCPD Advisory Board is to:

  • Support the center director in the design, implementation, and evaluation of a comprehensive program of professional development supporting faculty members in all phases of their professional careers. 
  • Inform faculty in their colleges of programming at the FCPD.
  • Bring faculty concerns and recommendations to the FCPD Advisory Board.
