The Forgivable Loan/Doctoral
Incentive Program is designed to increase the number of CSU
faculty members who are underrepresented in certain academic
fields. The program provides a stipend of $10,000 per year
to full-time doctoral students who are interested in a faculty
career at a CSU campus.

Forgivable
Loans
- Loans of up to $10,000 per year up to a total of $30,000
within 5 years
- Loan Forgiveness - twenty percent of the loan is forgiven
for each year of full-time postdoctoral teaching at a CSU
campus
- Faculty sponsorship from a CSU faculty member

Typically Application Forms become available in December.
