SUBJECT: CHANGES IN ASIAN STUDIES M.A. REQUIREMENTS
The following policy statement, recommended by the Academic Senate
at its meeting of November 17, 1977, and approved by the President
on January 5, 1978, is as follows:
RESOLVED: That the California State University, Long Beach MA in Asian
Studies drop all area requirements and permit. students in the program
to devise coherent programs of study based on their primary interest
in either South or East Asia. Effective: Immediately
