Reappointments
The following policy statement,
recommended by the Academic Senate at its meeting of February 24,
1977, and approved by the President on March 4, 1977, is as follows:
That the University President delegate to the School Deans, the Director
of the University Library, and the Director of the Center of Public
Policy the authority, after appropriate consultation, to make first
and second year reappointments of probationary (tenure track) faculty
as long as the reappointments do not involve tenure decisions.
Effective: Immediately
