Grade Appeals Committee (GAC)
CHARGE
The University Grade Appeals
Committee shall carry out the functions specified in University
Policy Statement 11-09, Grade Appeal Procedure.
Membership
- Provost and Senior Vice-President
for Academic Affairs (or designee)
- Five (5) tenured or tenure
track faculty members, no more than one from any college
- One (1) lecturer who shall
serve for a period of one year
- President of the Associated
Students, Inc. (or designee)
- One (1) member of the Curriculum
and Educational Polices Council selected by the Council, who should
also be a member of the Grade Appeals Committee if possible; if
an individual with dual membership is not available, the Council
member becomes a non-voting member of the Grade Appeals Committee.
