ACADEMIC SENATE “101”

Agenda Packets

You can expect to receive the agenda packet by email by the Friday before the meeting, or at the beginning of the meeting week. If you would also like a hard paper copy sent by inter-campus mail please contact the Academic Senate Office (5-4140 or mwalker3@csulb.edu)

Materials distributed with the agenda generally pertain to the items on the agenda. Items distributed for a first reading are not redistributed for the second reading. Please retain the materials distributed for the first reading and bring them to the subsequent meeting.

Meeting Handouts

As you enter the Towner Auditorium, PSY-150, you will want to check the shelves for any additional handouts for the meeting.  The minutes of the previous meeting are often distributed at this time if they have not been distributed with the agenda.

Absences

Please call or e-mail the Academic Senate Office if you cannot attend a meeting. The Senate’s policy is that after three consecutive absences you are sent a memo regarding your attendance.

Resignations

If you are not able to continue serving on the Academic Senate, please inform the Academic Senate Office so that we may request a replacement from your College. The Colleges often have elected alternates in place.
