Classes to Clear Prebaccalaureate
Requirements
Continuing Freshmen:
If you do not pass your
required prebaccalaureate course by the end of your second successive
semester you will be given a hold that will prevent any future registration
actions. In order to remove the hold and continue enrollment at
CSULB for a third semester you must present evidence of a passing
grade in the required courses as soon as possible and no later than
the week before the next semester begins. If an official transcript
is not available soon after taking the appropriate course from a
community college equivalency,
PASS can provide you with a form on which your other campus can
assign the grade. You must also request an official transcript
for the PASS office and Enrollment Services.
If you are unable to complete
the requirements or do not plan to attend CSULB for a semester,
you may retain your status as a continuing student by filing an
Educational Leave form with Enrollment Services, Brotman Hall 101.
During your leave you must complete all required prebaccalaureate
English and/or math courses at a community college, so you will
be eligible to continue at CSULB in the future.
