Preliminary Evaluation

Preliminary Evaluation Request Information

The International Admissions offers a “Preliminary Evaluation Service” for prospective applicants interested in joining California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) in the near future. This service is not available to applicants that have submitted an application for admission to the current admission term. The purpose of this service is intended to provide a comprehensive evaluation of admission eligibility to CSULB based on academic criteria established by the university using documentation provided by the individual requesting this service and who has provided his/her documents for evaluation. Please be aware that the university may change its admission criteria without prior notice and that IA reserves the right to alter any original evaluation decision without further obligation to the applicant(s) if admission standard changes occur after an evaluation is completed. Please complete the “Preliminary Evaluation Request Form”, a copy of the self-listed educational documents, and payment of $150.00 U.S. dollars (check or money order), made payable to "CSULB Foundation".  Please submit these items to the International Admissions Office at the address listed on the “Preliminary Evaluation Request Form”.
