Exchange Students

Exchange Program Eligibility
California State University (CSU) and California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) exchange programs are available to students without US citizenship attending foreign universities with established exchange agreements.  If you are uncertain if your university is a CSU or CSULB exchange partner, please contact your university’s exchange advisor. 

Exchange Application
Application forms and detailed program information is available from your university’s exchange advisor.  There is no application fee.

Exchange Application Deadlines
April 1 for Fall Semester (August – December)

Students who would like to apply to live in on-campus dormitories should submit their exchange applications as early as possible, but no later than the second week of February.

October 1 for Spring Semester (January – May)

Students who would like to apply to live in on-campus dormitories should submit their exchange applications as early as possible, but no later than the October 1 deadline.
