What are activity units?

Units earned in courses that provide practice in areas such as music and kinesiology and physical education (KIN).

How many units in each activity area count toward graduation?

No more than eight units in music and/or physical education and no more than four units in SAR, a total of 20 units in all areas count toward graduation.  However, many students take activity courses like KIN for their gratification each semester. Activity units are not required for graduation from CSULB.
