Declaring a Major
For purposes
of timely completion of graduation requirements, all students must
declare a major when they have reached 60 baccalaureate units.
Students who have completed 60 or more baccalaureate units shall
not be permitted to register for classes until they have officially
declared a major. Entering transfer students must declare a major
when they apply to CSULB. If you are an undeclared freshman
or sophomore, the Academic Advising Center can assist you and can
also refer you to campus experts who can help you decide on a major.
