Requirements

  • 1. A bachelor's degree with a major in another discipline;
  • 2. A minimum of 24 units distributed as follows:
    • Take the following core:
      • CHLS 300 Chicano History (3)
      • CHLS 310 Chicano Thought (3)
      • CHLS 350 Latino Population in the United States (3)
      • CHLS 498 Senior Colloquium (3)
    • Take 12 units selected from the following:
      • Cultural Studies:
        • CHLS 390I, 341, 342, 380, 381, 420, 490, 499
      • Social Inquiry:
        • CHLS 315, 319, 320, 335I, 340, 352, 362, 400, 415, 421, 430, 470I, 490, 499.
