Create and Manage Your FTP / Personal Web Space

A CSULB FTP / Personal Web Space provides 25mb of space on CSULB's servers.  To add content to your personal website you must first create HTML files on your computer. Once you have created the files you must upload them to CSULB's FTP server.  Once you upload the files you can access your personal Website by going to http://www.csulb.edu/~username (where username is your FTP / Personal Web Space username).

    • In order to follow this tutorial correctly, you MUST have a CSULB FTP / Personal Web Space .
  • As an alternative, you can us a FTP client, such as FireFTP or Cyberduck (Mac only), to connect to CSULB's FTP server.
    • An FTP client is a program that allows you to easily move files from one computer to another or in this case to a server.
