CSULB E-mail Services

BeachMail (students)

Each BeachMail account offers 10 GB of e-mail storage and provides an easy way to check and manage e-mail. For more information, go to BeachMail.

CSULB Webmail (faculty & staff)

The easiest and most convenient way to check your CSULB e-mail is to use CSULB's Webmail, an e-mail service accessed through a web browser. For more information, read an overview of CSULB's Webmail. Additional documentation about reading and opening messages, composing messages, and more is available on Webmail's Documentation page.

Webmail Clients

If you prefer to use a different e-mail client, you will need the following information in order to set it up:

  • IMAP Server: imap.csulb.edu (preferred)
  • SMTP Server: smtp.csulb.edu
  • Off Campus SMTP Port: 587 (Note: If you cannot successfully access your e-mail from home and are a staff employee, please access your e-mail after first logging into VPN. See Network Services VPN instructions for more information.
