Mac OS X Remote Connection
Remote access to the internet is provided free for CSULB students, faculty, and staff by dialing the number (562) 985-3500 (toll call may apply).
Check list:
- Modem is Installed (please refer to modem manual)
- Modem is connected to the phone line

Quick Steps:
- You must have the privilege to make changes on System Preferences (i.e. administrator).
- Open Network preferences, can be found in System Preferences.
Configure: Internal Modem (if you are using External Modem, then select otherwise).

- IP Address:
- Domain Name Servers:
- Search Domains:
- PPP settings
- Telephone Number:
- 562-985-3500

- Open Internet Connect, can be found in Applications.
Please verify Telephone Number and Name entry
Click on Connect .
