
In Windows Mail, click on Tools -> Accounts...

Next click on the Add button.

Select Directory Service from the options provided and click on Next.

For the Internet directory (LDAP) server: type in ldap.csulb.edu and check the box that says "My LDAP server requires me to log on" then click Next.

In the Account name: field, type in uid=username,o=csulb then type in your password in the Password field and click Next.

Select Yes from the question "Do you want to check the addresses using this directory service?" and click Next.

Go back to Tools -> Accounts... if you aren't already there. Single click on the ldap.csulb.edu account and select Properties.

Go to the Advanced tab and type in 636 for the Directory service (LDAP): field. Place a check mark on the box that says This server requires an secure connection (SSL). Next, in the Search base: field, type in o=csulb and click Apply then OK.

Next, go to the create mail, and click on the To: button.

Click the Find... button.

Select ldap.csulb.edu in the Look in: pulldown menu. Finally, type in the name of the person you wish to search for in the Name: field.
