In Microsoft Outlook 2003, click on Tools -> E-mail Accounts...
Select Add a new directory or address book under the Directory heading and click Next .
Select Internet Directory Service (LDAP) and click Next.
Then type in the following information:
Server Name: ldap.csulb.edu
Check the box that says This server requires me to log on.
User Name: username
Password: password
Then, click on More Settings...
In the Connection tab, type in ldap.csulb.edu under the heading Display Name. Enter in 636 for the Port: and place a check mark on the box that says Use Secure Sockets Layer.
Click on the Search tab and for the Search Base type in o=csulb then click OK.
Then, click Next then Finish.
Go to Tools -> Address Book...
From the Show Names from the: dropdown menu, select ldap.csulb.edu.
Finally, type the name of the individual in the Type Name or Select from list: field and Enter.
