
In Windows Mail, select Tools -> Accounts...

Click the Add... button to continue.

Select Email Account and click Next.

Enter in a Display name (i.e. CSULB) and click on Next.

Enter in your campus E-mail address and click on Next.

Select the Incoming e-mail server type (IMAP or POP)
Next fill in the boxes correctly:
Incoming mail server: imap.csulb.edu (or popmail.csulb.edu)
Outgoing mail server: smtp.csulb.edu
Place a check mark in the box "Outgoing server requires Authentication"
When your done, click Next.

Enter in your E-mail username and Password in the appropriate fields and click Next.

Click the Finish button.

Next, go back to Tools -> Accounts... if you aren't already there. Click once on the imap.csulb.edu (or popmail.csulb.edu) and then select Properties.

Finally, click on the Advanced tab and change the Outgoing mail (SMTP) port number to 587. To close out, click on Ok then click on Close at the Internet Accounts window. Winmail is now set up to connect to the campus email system.
