Pantopo (Lecture Capture)

Panopto will be upgraded to their latest release on Saturday, May 18. Below are details on the upgrade process and its impact:

  • Panopto hosted servers will be down on Saturday, May 18th, from 8:00pm to 11:00pm EST to complete the upgrade to our csulb.hosted.panopto.com server. During this time, you will not be able to access recordings on your server. Any attempts to upload from recorder clients will result in a "Server unable to connect" message. You will be able to record offline and upload later.

Scheduled maintenace. Panopto Hosted customers will be upgraded to Panopto Focus 4.3.

During this time, you will be unable to access recordings on your server. Any attempts to upload from recorder clients will result in a “Server unable to connect” message. You will be able to record offline and upload later.

Based on customer feedback, Mac recorder clients will not be automatically upgraded to 4.3 this weekend. Instead, there will be a two week period during which the 4.2 Mac client continues to work. The new date for the automatic Mac client upgrade is Monday, March 18th at 8:00 PM EST.
