Using BeachBoard's Send Email tool, you can contact your instructor via email, through your preferred email address. Similarly, instructors can also contact you via email using your preferred email address.
Your email address is fed directly from MyCSULB into BeachBoard, and you can change or update your preferred email address in MyCSULB. Your preferred email address can be from any email provider, for example, Gmail, Yahoo, Earthlink, Cox.net, etc., but Technology Service Desk strongly recommends against using an email address from Hotmail or MSN. For reasons beyond our control, Hotmail and MSN assumes that email messages from BeachBoard are spam and either moves those messages to your Junk E-Mail folder or blocks those emails from being delivered to you.
