Grade a Dropbox with a Rubric
- From your Course Navigation, click the Dropbox link.
- From the Folder List page, click the name of the desired dropbox folder.
- From the Folder Submissions page on the User tab, click the Leave Feedback link beside the name of a user.
- On the right hand side of the Leave Feedback page under Evaluation, click the
Rubric icon.
- In the Assess Rubric window, select the radio buttons for each level and criteria, you will see a Total Score in the bottom right corner of the Rubric.
- Note: You can click the pencil icon to manually edit the points, if desired.
- Make sure that the check box for Transfer rubric feedback to general feedback for the assignment is checked.
- Click the Save & Record button.
- You should now see the rubric score in the Score Out of box in the Leave Feedback page.
- Click Save or Save & Next to grade the next student.
- Repeat this for each student.
Grade a Discussion Topic with a Rubric
- From your Course Navigation, click the Discussions link.
- Click the
Grade icon next to the desired Topic.
- In the User tab, click the rubric name (this is the name you gave your rubric) under the desired student.
- In the Topic Rubric window, select the radio buttons for each level and criteria, you will see a Total Score in the bottom right corner of the Rubric.
- Note: You can click the pencil icon to manually edit the points, if desired.
- Click Save.
- Click the Topic Score link under the same students name.
- In the Topic Score window, enter the Rubric points in the Topic Score box.
- Select the Graded check box, if you would like the grade to automatically transfer over to the Grades area. (Note: This option will only work if you have a Grade item attached to this Discussion Topic.)
- Click Save.
- Repeat these steps for each student.
Grade a Grade Item with a Rubric
- From you Course Navigation, click the Grades link.
- Click the
Grade icon next to the desired Grade Item.
- In the Assessment column, click the
Grade Rubric icon next to the desired student.
- In the Rubric window, select the level(s) the student achieved. The Rubric will give you a total.
- Click Save and then close the Rubric window by click the red X in the top right corner.
- Next to the student you have just graded, enter the total Rubric points in the Grade column.
- Repeat steps 3 to 6 for each student.
- Click Save.
