It requires activation of each Microsoft Office 2010 license acquired under a Volume License agreement. VA2 is designed to help increase protection and to help better manage the Volume License keys in managed and non-managed environments as well as provide flexible deployment options. The process has varying levels of transparency for end users, and the VA2 solution works in a variety of environments. VA2 provides the campus with two types of keys and three methods of activation.
