Adobe is transitioning from CS6 Master Collection suite to the Creative Cloud software model. The Creative Cloud model changes product upgrades from replacing the entire suite to incremental updates for individual products. This model will also allow Adobe to add new products within the Creative Cloud suite as they are developed. Adobe is also launching their "cloud" component in 2015 which allows sharing of work collaboratively.

CSU Long Beach participates in the CSU – Adobe site license. It is an annual subscription coordinated by Academic Technology Services. The license allows installation ONLY ON university-owned workstations including student computers labs. Installation is done by authorized division, department or college technologists. The software and accompanying license code MUST NOT be installed on personally owned computers. Faculty and staff should contact your division, department or college technologist regarding installation of the product(s) on university owned equipment.
Faculty, staff and students can subscribe to the Adobe Creative Cloud on an individual basis for use on personally owned computers.
Only authorized Campus Techs may install the Adobe Creative Cloud suite on campus-owned computers. The Creative Cloud software license and license keys must be used and NOT the license key for the CS6 Master Collection.
