Q: What do I need to check out a computer?

A: You need to have a current CSULB student/faculty/staff ID # in order to check out a computer. There are no exceptions!

Q: How much are printouts?

A: Black & white printouts are $0.10/page. Color printouts are $1.50 per 8.5" X 11" page, $2.00 per 8.5" X 14" page and $3.00 per 11" X 17" page.

Q: How do I get a CSULB Email account?

A: You may obtain an email account from any computer lab on campus or at your home computer with internet access. You can sign up for your email account at NameMaster

Q: What does my laptop need in order to connect to the CSULB server?

A: Each laptop needs an ethernet card or have wireless capability to connect to the network. All users are required to have a MyCSULB or webmail account to logon to the campus network.

Q: Can I print from the laptop stations?

A : Yes printing is available at the laptop stations. To print, simply save your document and submit it to the campus printing service. You can then release it at any print station in the lab.
