Inspired by the classic favorites of Greek drama, our playwrights have chosen to "remix" the myths and legends of the ancient world using modern settings, ranging from Latino gang culture to film noir. Hades’ abduction of Persephone, the many affairs of Zeus, the tragic love story of Hero and Leander, and the Pyrrha and Deucalion flood myth are all are represented in Songs.
