Can I transfer courses taken elsewhere into the program at CSULB in order to obtain a degree more quickly?

Yes -- under certain conditions. A maximum of 6 semester units (2 classes) may be transferred in from outside CSULB or  9 semester units (3 classes) transferred in from the Open University at CSULB. However, these are subject to the following restrictions:

The units transferred must be in courses that are statistical or mathematical and must be approved by the advisor.

The units transferred MUST not have been used to satisfy ANY undergraduate requirements.
