Eligibility for CSULB Math Day at the Beach

Registration is by school, with each school sending one 6 member team. Eligible
schools must be high schools (or schools that include the high school grades) 
located in one of the following California counties: Santa Barbara, Ventura, Kern,
Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, or San Bernardino. A team must be accompanied by
an adult (preferably a teacher at the school.) All participants must be 9th, 10th,
11th, or 12th grade students at that school.

Registration for unaffiliated individuals is possible only under very specific
circumstances. The student must be in the  9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade in the
counties listed above, at a school that does not send a team (or homeschooled), 
and the student must be a regular participant in the activities of the Southern
California ARML Team. Dr. Merryfield will arrange such students into teams, but 
such independent teams are not eligible for any team prizes. The students will be
eligible for individual prizes. To register as an independent, contact Dr. Merryfield.
