I miss it at the Beach a lot, but I carry my memories and experiences with me always. I wanted to tell you about my job/fellowship; I am an English Language Fellow (ELF). An ELF is an English teaching professional who has usually had previous work experience abroad, holds an MA degree in TESL or other closely related field, and has the desire to create English language teaching or teacher training programs in a foreign country. There are different English related projects that are established throughout the world. The American Embassies help implement the projects. I am currently a fellow in Asuncion, Paraguay. I work closely with the American Embassy and the local bi-national center. The program is part of the U.S. Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, and it is administered by Georgetown University in Washington D.C. (http://elf.georgetown.edu) This program is truly incredible. Everyday is an amazing adventure. I use all the great information and experience that I learned at CSULB everyday. So awesome!! Thanks for everything!
